Blaufränkisch Rosé - Grosshöflein 2022
Blaufränkisch Rosé - Grosshöflein 2022
This Blaufränkisch entices with aromas of red currants, a hint of raspberry, rosehip, and a touch of tobacco. On the palate, it exhibits good acidity and a creamy texture, giving the wine a special elegance.
The vines grow on clay-rich black soil on Leitha limestone. The cool east-facing slope of the Fölligberg and the age of the vines, up to 27 years, contribute to the quality of the grapes. Gentle pruning and the use of organic compost promote healthy growth.
The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo an 8-hour maceration period. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in used tonneaux, followed by 9 months aging on the full lees and 1 month of bottle aging.
Optimal drinking temperature: 8 - 10 °C. This wine pairs excellently with smoked freshwater fish, beef tartare, cured ham, and hard cheese.
Grape variety: Blaufränkisch
Alc: 13.00%
