Originating from Hungary's picturesque Balatonboglár wine region, specifically the Vári vineyard in Kéthely, this unique blend features 35% Furmint, 30% Grüner Veltliner, and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. The soil composition of clay, loess, loam, and traces of limestone contributes to the wine's complex character.

The Furmint grapes are harvested with full bunches left on the skin for four weeks in integrale French barrels, undergoing intense extraction. During malolactic fermentation (MLF), the frequency of barrel rotation is decreased. The wine is then pressed and returned to the French barrels for an additional three months. The Grüner Veltliner is hand-harvested, with whole bunches pressed after hand selection and a maceration period of 4-6 hours. Following this, the rest of the grapes are pressed, fermented, and aged in amphorae for six months. The Sauvignon Blanc is destemmed, crushed, fermented, and aged in large used barrels for six months.

The wines are blended in stainless steel tanks and bottled unfiltered, ensuring a pure expression of the terroir. The vinification process includes a late September harvest, selecting the best fruit from top sites. The wine is unfined and unfiltered.

With a structured, vibrant, and mineral character, this wine offers a unique tasting experience. It has a shelf life of over 10 years. The careful selection of fruit, low yield, and extended élevage on fine lees for 12 months, with low added sulfur dioxide before bottling, all contribute to its exceptional quality.
