Deep dark, opaque core, delicate lightening at the rim.
Intense fruit nose, black cherry fruit, cassis, blueberries, chocolate and cocoa, herbal spice, fine orange zest, rum-coconut, delicate roasted aromas.
On the palate, wonderful berry fruit concentration, balanced texture, full-bodied, round and juicy, plum and herbal spice, smooth tannins, espresso and vanilla, juicy ripe wild cherry, black currant, mineral, some nougat and fine wood spice in the aftertaste, delicate extract sweetness nuances.
Has many resources and is versatile – whether solo or as a food companion – always the right choice!
Soil: Loess-like chernozem from sandy loam with high gravel content, paratschernosem from clayey sand with high gravel content, sandy soil.
Traditional mash fermentation in a stainless steel tank at 30 °C, maceration time 14 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
