"The Krispels" combines our family history with our philosophy about wine, origin, and the basalt soils of the Styrian Vulkanland.

Wine Region: Styria, Austria
Vinification: This elegant wine matures for 12 months in both large wooden barrels and partially in basalt stone, which gives it its characteristic complexity and depth.
Color: A pale golden yellow that shimmers in the glass.
Aroma: A seductive bouquet of toffee, gooseberry, baked apple, and an exotic note unfolds on the nose.
Palate: On the palate, the wine is smooth with a hint of residual sugar, giving it a wonderful creaminess. With air and warmth, the wine begins to transform and reveal new facets.
Food Pairing: Perfect with Mangalitsa pork steak, wild fowl such as pheasant, red curry with shrimp, lamb, and braised beef.
