Áldás Egri Bikavér Superior 2022

The first thing you notice when pouring the wine into the glass is its medium ruby color. The next sensory experience comes from the nose. It is explosively fruity, with notes of ripe sour cherry, fresh red cherry, currant, and plum, all intensely present. On tasting, you get taut acidity and fine, velvety tannins. The red berries reappear on the palate. The sip is juicy and very enjoyable to drink.

This wine is a blend of seven grape varieties, with the largest proportion being Kékfrankos and Syrah, so it’s no wonder you can detect all these aromas.

Aged for 11 months in 5-25 hl wooden barrels. It offers a dense, juicy sip with excellent proportions.

A fruit-focused, dynamic, sufficiently broad, modern red wine. The aroma is characterized by ripe black berries with a slight cocoa powder background. The taste is taut but still gentle, with a nice aging potential.

After bottling, it is recommended to store it on the shelf for 2-4 years, but if you want to achieve optimal development, store it at a temperature below 15 °C, naturally lying down and in a light-protected place.

Recommended serving temperature: 16-18 °C.
