Boldogságos Egri Csillag Grand Superior 2022

It can now be said that this is a typical Egri Csillag from the Boldogságos vineyard. In its aroma, alongside the minerality characteristic of the vineyard, there are notes of ripe peach, apple, pomelo, and grapefruit. A juicy sip with taut acidity and medium body. Full of peach and grapefruit. Mediterranean green spices complement the experience. The wine finishes with a long aftertaste.

This wine comes from one of the country's best, genuine white wine regions, the Boldogságos vineyard in Egerszólát. On the nearly 5-hectare area, only white grape varieties are grown. These include Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Furmint.

The most important element of the ancient Eger soil, which is reflected in the grapes grown here and in the wines each year, is the tufa.

The aroma is cool and refined, with notes of pollen, linden, and roasted seeds.

In the sip, there is strong structure, rich acidity, balance, with just enough of everything. After hand harvesting, fermentation occurs in both tanks and barrels, followed by aging in used barrels for 5 months. The two György Lőrincz once again "strived to practice good," resulting in this wine performing well above its category.
