A remarkably elegant great red offering sumptuous aromas of fresh berries, baking spices and vanilla, and a delicate fragrance of spring florals. The initial bouquet is augmented by more nuanced notes of blackberry and cassis.

Fine-grained tannins deliver a delightfully round structure. Harmonious and lively, the flavors linger to create an enduring finish with touches of dark chocolate.

The vineyards of Jammertal Borbirtok span the entire width of the Villány wine region from Palkonya to Hegyszentmárton. The entire area consists of a limestone subsoil mixed with loess, clay, and brown forest soil. The vineyards are located on plateaus and southern slopes, protected from cold northern winds by the double hill ranges of Pécs and Villány. This feature provides the region with its unique sub-Mediterranean microclimate. We focus on Bordeaux varieties as they are excellently suited to the terroir.

The Jammertal Cassiopeia MCS*Achird 2016 is meticulously hand-harvested and collected in crates, then hand-selected. Fermentation is controlled in cooled stainless steel tanks with selected yeast. The wine is aged for 18 months in 500-liter barrels made of French and American oak.
