Goldene Finesse 2021

This exquisite wine shines with a radiant gold-yellow color. It offers a delightful bouquet of ripe pears, peach puree, passion fruit, a hint of pineapple, elderflower, citrus accents, blossom honey, orange zest, fresh herbal spices, chamomile, and caramel.

On the palate, it is exceptionally elegant and complex, with flavors of vineyard peach, light dried fruit notes, passion fruit, honeydew melon, light caramel with blossom honey, pleasant spices, elderflower, and chamomile.

The wine showcases a perfect acid structure with ample residual sweetness, creating a superb balance. It is powerful yet pleasantly round, a grand sweet wine that promises many years of enjoyment – liquid gold from Illmitz!

With a total alcohol content of 9.0% vol., and a residual sugar of 254.1 g/l, this Prädikatswein sweet wine is made from grapes grown in black earth from clayey silt with a high gravel content.

The wine undergoes a six-week fermentation in used oak barrels at 13°C and was bottled in May 2022.
