Piros means “red” in Hungarian. The Heimann family believes one future of red wine lies in a barely-red style – comparable to a Claret, only from the valleys of Szekszárd. Lively as berry juice, with playful acidity, a little tannin and notes of strawberry and cherry. Serve chilled.

Two-thirds is Kékfrankos, pressed directly and fermented like a rosé; it is joined by Kadarka fermented as whole bunches with a little stem inclusion. The wine then rests for just a few months in stainless steel.
