Mittelburgenland is red wine country. Heavy loam soils, a warm Pannonian climate, Blaufränkisch as far as the eye can see. That a frizzante this light, this fragrant, and this effortless comes from here — that is a pleasant surprise.

For this Frizzante, the Muskateller grapes were selectively hand-harvested in early September — the moment when their aromatic intensity peaks. After a brief period of skin contact, the grapes were gently pressed; the must already showed the variety's characteristic floral depth. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, using reductive winemaking to preserve the delicate aromas. The result: a frizzante at 11% vol. with just 0.7 g/l residual sugar — drier than it tastes.

In the glass: gently floral, fresh and bright — Muskateller in its lightest, most carefree form. The fine bubbles lift the aromas without overwhelming them. A wine that cools, breezes through the afternoon and carries the evening forward.

Serve well chilled as an aperitif, alongside a light antipasti spread, fresh goat's cheese, or summer salads with citrus dressing. The floral Muskateller character also pairs beautifully with Asian-inflected dishes — sushi, lightly spiced noodles, Thai salads — where the aromatic brightness of the wine finds its match.
