From Pollerhof in Röschitz, grown on pure granite soil in the Weinviertel. The wine carries the name of a woman who tended this vineyard with her own hands for decades. In 2006, she handed the vines to Erwin Poller, asking only that he care for them with the same devotion she always had. She did not live to see the first harvest. Every vintage since carries her memory forward.
Delicate spice meets cool notes of juicy pear and orange zest. Creamy, melting finesse with hints of biscuit. Full-bodied and powerful on the palate, white pepper, finely spiced mineral depth.
Pairing: fine dining, asparagus, goat cheese, fish and seafood, braised dishes, poultry, hare and pheasant. Vegan pairing: grilled asparagus with lemon olive oil.
