The noble rot, Botrytis cinerea, attacks the grape berries, causing them to shrivel on the vine. The botrytized grapes are then harvested individually by hand. The 2013 vintage was exceptional: we were able to harvest high-quality, fully botrytized grapes, from which this miracle was made. It is produced from almost creamy must obtained without pressing, due to the pressure of the grapes’ own weight during storage. This exceptional wine is rich in minerals, sugar, and the unique aromas and flavors characteristic of botrytized grapes, showcasing the beauty of the wine region with incredible complexity. Its color is vibrant golden yellow, with an intense, pure fruit taste, and incredibly rich botrytis notes.
