Collection: Chardonnay Panorama: From Vulkanland to Balaton

Our collection of Chardonnay wines is a curated treasure trove that includes the finest selections from various regions and wineries. The Chardonnay grape, renowned worldwide, adapts exceptionally well to different soil and climatic conditions, resulting in each wine possessing a unique character. These wines often feature a complex flavor profile, with citrus, apple, and pear notes blending with hints of vanilla, butter, and occasionally mineral aromas. Thanks to its versatility, Chardonnay is an excellent base for both light, refreshing wines and fuller-bodied, barrel-aged versions.

The first wine in our collection comes from Krispel in the Vulkanland region. This wine perfectly reflects the mineral character of the volcanic soils, complemented by fresh citrus notes and subtle spiciness. The Chardonnay from Schup Winzer Familie in the Thermenregion showcases the region's elegant, floral, and fruity aromas, with harmonious acidity and a refined structure completing the tasting experience.

Julia Kroiss's Chardonnay from Vienna represents a modern approach, where the urban environment and the youthful dynamism of the winemaker converge. In contrast, Karoline Taferner's Chardonnay from Carnuntum reflects the rich history and traditions of the region, offering a deeper, more complex flavor profile with a long finish. The Chardonnay from Esterházy in the Seewinkel region boasts a unique fruity and mineral character, shaped by the area's special microclimate.

Our collection also includes masterpieces from the Pasler and Salzl wineries, both reflecting the richness and diversity of the Seewinkel region. Lastly, the Chardonnay from Kristinus in Hungary is also featured in our selection, blending the traditions of viticulture around Lake Balaton with modern winemaking techniques to produce fresh, fruity, and vibrant wines.

This collection perfectly represents the diversity and uniqueness of Chardonnay wines, offering wine enthusiasts the opportunity to embark on a journey to discover the treasures of Central Europe's finest wine regions.
